You’ve probably seen by now the Strangers First Kiss video that has gone bananas over social media in the past weeks, as well as all the parodies and spoofs that have cropped up.
Here’s an interesting take on the subject – The Gay Women Channel have taken the concept and applied it to hugs.
But not just any old hug, these hugs involve taking homophobic people, and pairing them up with a gay person. The results are truly heart warming.
If 15 people can learn about tolerance through something as simple as a hug, this truly proves that love can overcome hate, and maybe one day we can live in a society without discrimination based on sexual preference.
