Tilt-Shift photography is a technique that provides selective focus to an image, creating the illusion of miniaturization – or to put it simply, it makes everything look tiny. This is due to the effect mimicking what the eye sees when we focus on something small.
Traditionally used for still photography, this effect can also be applied to a time lapse video, and with the right conditions, as you’ll see, the result is simply stunning.
This video, shot by Keith Loutit, shows Rio de Janeiro like you’ve never seen before!
