Sorry, there’s a small fib in the title. This amazing substance is not radiactive at all, (despite its toxic looking glow) and in fact you could actually quite safely eat it.
Magic Mud – as Grant Thompson, the creator of this video, calls it – is an amazing substance that becomes solid when you agitate it, becomes a liquid at rest, and glows intensely under UV light.
This weird goo isn’t the byproduct of a nuclear experiment or the salvage from a crashed UFO however, in fact it’s remarkably simple to make in your own kitchen using two readily available ingredients. Check out the video below.
This would make a great project for kids, or for anyone who likes to get their hands dirty and make a little mess.
