These Beautiful Music Videos Will Make You Love Science in a Whole New Way

  • by

The Symphony of Science is a music and video project created by ‘melodysheep‘, aka Washington based musician John Boswell.

Taking audio and video samples from television programs and movies featuring scientists and narrators speaking on scientific subjects, Boswell remixes them into amazing music videos that he hopes will help spread scientific knowledge and awareness.

These results of musical visual projects are not only amazingly inspiring and catchy, they are also very beautiful works of art in their own right, and some of them, such as this one, are downright inspiring.

These videos have been called “art for the information Age, inspired by science”, and we tend to agree.

This video features Morgan Freeman, Stephen Hawking, Michio Kaku, Brian Cox, Richard Feynman, and Frank Close, and is our favourite of the series.

Be sure to check out melodysheep’s other videos.

Here’s the latest installment, The Joy of Discovery.
