5 Experiments that Could Have Destroyed the Earth

Ok, so maybe this video should be called “5 Experiments that Some People THOUGHT it was POSSIBLE that they MIGHT destroy the world”, but even so, it makes for fascinating viewing.

The fact that all these experiments went ahead despite the fears surrounding them is a little unsettling to say the least, but also a testament to the progress of science and how much we’ve learned in our short stay (cosmically speaking) on this planet.
